Game zones

At Special Ops Paintball Carlow we have taken great pride in our paintball game zones to create intense and realistic combat scenarios. Our centre offers a range of terrain from up hill battlefields, to urban compounds and even water obstacles. You will fight your way from the dense forest undergrowth into the open to face your enemy in every paintball scenario possible. No two paintball games are the same and not every tactic will work second time round. Its time to think fast, move even faster and get ready for Special Ops.

The Fort

Known simply as the fort game, this is 360 degree's of paintball madness. Starting at the base of the hill your team must fight to take the fort before time runs out. Plant the flag or detonate the bomb, either way its a long walk back down the hill if you are defeated. Pool your tactics and get ready for an up hill battle.

Hamburger Hill

Don’t let the name fool you. This is a fierce paintball battleground. Amongst the largest in Ireland, this is one hard nut to crack. In the defensive position you have a two storey 360 degree view of your approaching enemy. The only problem is, how will they approach? Will the main force battle through the barricades? Or will the covert splinter group use the nearby stream as tactical cover? Get ready, this is a paintball game zone like no other..

The Truck Games

At Special Ops we love our ex-army vehicles, and what better vehicle than a 10 tonne Army Truck? Introduced recently into our game zones we have made the truck the highlight of some of the most intense gaming. Whether its planting your flag or evacuating under enemy fire, your team will be driven to the tactical edge.

Hostile Take Over

With summer of 2012 just ahead of us, we're bringing a new game zone to Irish Paintball. Construction started in late April and we are happy to announce that May 2012 will see our new game zone take shape. Styled as an urban take over challenge this is one game zone we are particularly proud of. Check back soon for new photos.
